A step back to GO forward
I regularly collaborate on projects with exceptionally talented friends, often this means offering advice, encouragement and working under them on productions. The chance to learn how other directors approach their work is incredibly rewarding. It breaks any tendency to repeat tried and trusted methods and inspires with fresh innovative techniques that I regularly try to appropriate in different ways within my own work.
